Hong Kong Sports Association of the Deaf

Who we are:

- leading voice of the deaf sports community in Hong Kong                                                    

- member of Asia Pacific Deaf Sports Confederation(APDSC)
- chartered member of the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD)
- sole proprietor and representative for deaf sporting events of any scale in Hong Kong

Responsibilities of HKSAD:

​

- organize different sporting and cultural events for the deaf and hearing impaired in HK
- help maintain physical and mental standards of health whilst promoting deaf values
- collective representative of deaf athletes in Hong Kong
- selection of athletes to participate in inter-country and regional deaf sporting events
- fostering a good relationship with equivalent sporting organizations of other countries
